Date, time and location of ceremony and receptionBoth the ceremony and reception will be held at Springkell House. The ceremony will begin at 1PM and the evening reception will begin at 7:30PM. Please see the timeline page for further information.

What time should i arrive?If you are attending the ceremony please arrive between 12:00-12:30PM. There are lounges and a bar you can relax in while you wait. For the evening reception, please arrive 7PM onwards.

Are there any additional eventsIf enough people are interested we will be holding a dinner the night before the wedding, this will be £30 a head. Please contact the Bride and Groom if you'd like to know more.

Can I bring my dog?Springkell is dog friendly. We ask that no dogs are at the ceremony, wedding breakfast or in the evening reception room. Please be respectful of the house and clean up after your dogs.

Is the venue accessible ?Yes, there are also accessible bedrooms available.

Mobile Phones/ CeremonyDuring the ceremony please ensure your phone is turned OFF and we kindly ask only the photgrapher takes photos at this time.

What is the dress code?Formal dress, Please dress to impress, we want you to feel good.

Can I stay?Yes! We’d love for you to stay with us at Springkell for one or two nights, including the night before and the night of the wedding. There are 21 bedrooms in the house, as well as three 2-bedroom cottages just 50 meters from the main house. For more details, please contact the bride and groom.

How much is it to stay with you at Springkell?Single £110 Double £130 Triple £170 Cottage £260 (each sleeps 4, plus additional beds can be added at £50 ) Prices are per night, all rooms include Full Scottish Breakfast! Please contact the Bride and Groom for more info

Where do i park?Please park anywhere outside the venue. If staying in the cottages, there is plenty of parking there

Who is invited?Only names stated on the invitation are invited, if you would like to bring any other guests please contact the Bride and Groom

Can i bring my own alcohol?No, only alcohol purchased on the premises may be consumed. If guests are found drinking their own alcohol, it may be confiscated by Springkell staff.

Will food be provided?Yes, there will be a variety of food throughout the day. After the wedding ceremony, canapés will be served. A three-course wedding breakfast will follow around 5PM, accompanied by tea and coffee. Later, an evening buffet will be available during the reception, starting around 9:30 PM. The bar will be open all day.

What if i have dietary requirements?We’re happy to accommodate all dietary requirements, whether vegan, vegetarian, or other specific needs. Please let the bride and groom know about your requirements when you RSVP.

Is there a wedding registry, or would you prefer cash gifts ?Your presence on the day is the most important gift to us! However, if you would like to honor us with a gift, please visit our gift page.

Where can I share my photos?We’d love to see your photos! On the big day, you’ll find a QR code that makes it easy to share your pictures with us. Feel free to browse and enjoy the photos shared by other guests too.

Can i take photos during the ceremony?To ensure our professional photographer can capture the best moments without distractions, we kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. Thank you for your understanding!

Are there any restrictions on sharing photos online?Yes, we kindly ask that you refrain from posting photos of children attending the event on social media unless you have obtained permission from their parents. We appreciate your understanding and respect for everyone’s privacy!

Can i post on social media?We kindly ask that you refrain from posting any photos of the bride and groom on social media until after the event. Thank you for your understanding and support in keeping this moment special!
